A Coconut Rum that was more savory than Sweet. It begins with 60 pounds of raw coconut, steeping overnight in the still, then loaded with 5 pounds of toasted coconut to impart a ‘nutty’ aroma. Following the run, 5 more pounds of dehydrated coconut is added and let it steep in the rum for 4 days. There are 3 different expressions of coconut in this rum, resulting in natural flavors and a delicate, smooth mouthfeel. No sugar is added at the end of distillation. Made here in DC!
