ANXO Cider, a mid-size and fast growing cider company, seeks to hire an Assistant Cider Maker based out of Chambersburg, PA. Employment is full time with flexible hours Monday-Friday.

Beginning cider production in 2017, ANXO started with a single barrel making 1,000 gallons of cider its first year. Currently, ANXO produces 75,000+ gallons of cider sold in 20+ states across the US and abroad. The cidery expanded warehousing to Chambersburg, PA in late 2020, and is excited to grow the team at this location and begin fermentation this year.
ANXO’s Assistant Cider Maker will oversee all packaging, including canning, bottling and kegging. Knowledge of and experience with fermentation and alcohol production is strongly preferred. The Assistant Cider Maker will work closely with ANXO’s production team to help with the logistics of moving juice and ensuring safe and clean fermentation processes are followed. Additional responsibilities will include driving the forklift, as well as driving the box truck from Chambersburg to DC and back as needed to transfer products.
Compensation starts at $35,000/year for 45 hours a week, with an opportunity for higher compensation based on experience. All work must be performed in person.
Skills and Qualifications
● Experience with or passion for alcohol production
● Healthy personal relationship with alcohol
● Experience with a forklift
● Valid driver’s license
● Have or be able to obtain DOT Medical clearance
● Forklift certified and/or experience driving a forklift
● Experience driving a box truck
